Bringing Apple Intelligence to Market at WWDC24 and Beyond

What I did

Project

  • Role: Contributing writer, editor

  • Surfaces: WWDC24 website, emails, experiential signage, and the employee support website

  • Company: Apple

  • Year: 2024

Problem

Every year Apple uses its World Wide Developer Conference (WWDC) to announce its biggest launches. It had been behind on leveraging generative AI in its narrative, but it needed a privacy story to have it work with its narrative.

Solution

  • At WWDC24, Apple was finally ready to unveil its privacy and AI narrative. I partnered with the Developer Marketing team to help streamline content on the WWDC website and emails in addition to the employee support website and the signage experience - enabling a smooth end-to-end experience that allowed the announcements to take precedent.

  • We worked in tandem with Internal Communications, Marcom, Developer Marketing, and PR to ensure the story was told flawlessly.

Impact

  • Apple stock (AAPL) surge of 7% by end of week, post-event.
