Supporting Ukraine with UX Writing

Problem

Logitech wanted to support the War in Ukraine as part of its causes marketing initiatives, but it had to act quickly.

Solution

  • Leveraging new website templates, we were able to quickly add an announcement bar and a custom messge in the cart that led to a landing page.

Results

  • Pending!

Announcement bar

When users visited the site, they saw a simple call to action on the announcement bar.

Donate during checkout in the cart

In the cart, I had a little more room to work with and was able to add some more details. By including a messaging during the cart experience, we streamlined the donation experience for the user.

Users were led to a donation landing page.

Promotion

The comms team shared a public blog post announcing the fund.

I was able to partner internally to promote the donation fund on the company intranet with a promo card and blog post.
