Problem
As the senior copywriter for Google I/O, I led the copy for the website and email, and oversaw brand copy for social as well. But the signage was traditionally led by agencies in a silo, which were managed by the Events and Experiences team.
Solution
In 2023, I was finally able to expand my role into the copy for the in-person experience.
Partnered with the Senior Event Producer to learn about the timeline and requests.
Shared best practices and editorial guidelines while influencing the creative direction.
Got hands-on and delivered new OOH experiential copy.
Impact
