Problem
Sauce Labs previously catered to startups, but wanted to expand into the enterprise market. Its voice had generally been casual, but it needed to grow up and be a little more polished. At the same time, it had been too small to bother with a brand book and it didn’t need one–until now. With new funding and a new goal in mind, it was time to update and codify some guidelines; a necessary step that comes with scaling.
Solution
Partnered with the brand lead and marketing director in the research and development to truly understand our market, personas, goals, brand and voice.
Owned, authored, and edited the Editorial section.
Edited the rest of the book for consistency.
